Hi, I am looking for a book or other resource that has an unbiased history of the development of the history of modern day Israel. I would like to understand the development of Israel from a histrorical perspective without bias one way or the other. Any Recommendations? I am interested only in a historical account not one biased based on a certain, faith, culture or religion.
Thanks

Bias is always present in whatever you read. Every author has an agenda. In order to be well informed you have to draw your own conclusions from many sources.

This is one of the problems with my (the American) society. We're a country of immediacy so we go to the most convenient source which we use as the sole utility to solve a problem without comparing and contrasting these different sources in their usefulness. What we need to do as a People is look at a problem and come up with multiple ways of digesting and resolving them before we exercise our opinions and resolutions vociferously.

If you want to become informed upon a subject read up on at least three different views of it. Two polarizing views from both sides of the issue and a moderate view.
