A cow. They can be your best friend like a dog. They give you milk and cream to make other dairy products. Cattle can also give you meat, clothing, and gelatin. They also provide you with an abundant amount of fertilizer for your garden. Cattle can be used to pull a plow, you may ride them, and they will generally keep coyotes away from your chickens. Cattle are the most useful animals on earth, not to mention they are so stinking cute and lovable!
Based on how cool looking they are and the crazy way they talk, Camels and Elephants tie for second.

A Bengal Tiger - they are the strongest land predators. Though any of the Big Cat Predators are good!!
Though I also like the mysterious Wolf and intelligent Dolphins....

The Wolf and the Lion, they are strong animals. Predatory perhaps, but very intelligent and strong.
