I love listening to Rufus Wainwright music.
When I meditate I listen to the Lakme Flower Duet, O Silver Moon from Rusalka, and certain Beethoven or Mozart sonatas and symphonies.

celtic songs are good as well as classical music like mozart. Also native american. They are good because they have no lyrics which help you to stay focused in meditation. It als helps to relax you because you aren't affected by lyrics only the music. I was told in school that Mozart helps the brain to focus.

I am calmed by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Or I get wild by them. But they're rock, so's I dunno if yah wanna listen to 'em. There new album, Stadium Arcadium, is awesome.
