Will all the people who keeps saying its called the WNBA, just shutup? CO-ED!! Boys playing on the same team as girls, the WNBA does not have boys, idiots.

No, I really don't think so. It would be fun though... but they created the WNBA to even it. Could you imagine Shaq posting Diana Taurasi? ... Nah, me either

I don't believe there are any rules in the NBA that prevent women from playing in the league. I think it could be possible for women to play in the NBA and do well, most likely in the 1 & 2 guard positions.
I don't think the size of the ball would be a problem, since women play with the standard 9" ball in international competition like the Olympics with no problem.

i'm not trying to be mean or discriminate but men on average are bigger than woman like bigger muscles and stuff and wider. woman have big muscles and stuff but they're not as big as ben wallace or shaq i've never seen any woman like that it's better to stay how it is now just for everyone's safety and if they did they'd have to make a whole different version of b-ball :) don't get me wrong i love both the nba and wnba go deeeeeeetroit

It would be nice to believe that in a perfect system there would be 3 guys and 2 girls on the floor at all times and that matchups would work out
But what happens when there's a switch and Shaq ends up hammering some girl?
And then Kobe wouldn't be allowed to play because... y'know... the stigma...

Of course not. Women would be way over matched plus they could really get hurt. The women use smaller basketballs in their game. They would have to use a standard NBA basketball and that would reduced their field goal percentage. All in all not a good idea.
