im from argentina too! i think we have a great team thought we have some problems too.
here are my thoughts!
the team played well during this year's world cup, but was very inconsistent. against serbia/montenegro, we kicked complete a*s*s!!! but against mexico, the team didnt play as well. but then against germany, we played great (even though we lost). i think that had to do alot with the fact that peckerman didnt really know the strengths and weaknesses of the team.
either way, we have a great chance for 2010 because our young players are so talented and they can only get better (messi and tevez) and our more experienced players really know how to work and bring the team together...plus, no one is that old that they are thinking of retiring!
overall, argentina is one of the best because the players are selfish. alot of other players from other teams would rather try and score a goal by themselves just to get the credit but argentina works as a team and its proven to be a more successful way of playing the game.

I thought only soccer and rugby were popular there...and polo. They have a gridiron league?
Confused though you are, I love River Plate and the atmosphere at soccer matches and the Pumas are always fun to watch at the Rugby World Cups.
Next time try Football (Soccer) and in there is an Argentinian section.
