no one is advocating "killing babies", by the way: how many "evil dictators" did the u.s. install?

You guys love painting everything black and white. I think its because the average Us punter (and Australian for that matter) finds it easier to watch TV than think.
You should not kill innocent civilians.
Lets do some maths. A couple of thousand people die in the trade centre, and in retaliation (because lets face it thats what has been happening ever since - retaliation) you guys go and destroy a couple of countries and kill many more civilians.
And all the while you try to claim the moral high ground. Oh, and in the meantime any iraqi who gets angry about this is a terrorist.
As for the abortion debate. What right do you think you have to tell any woman what she does with her body. Most abortions are carried out before the 'baby' is even a foetus. The baby could not survive outside the womans body.
I refer you all to my question regarding whether a person has the right to kill themselves. If they do, and they do, have the right to kill themselves, then that makes any rights of the 'baby' redundant, as it was never a viable human anyway.
It might sound harsh, but thats just the way it is.
This is especially the case if you consider cases where the mother was raped or otherwise accidently or inadvertantly impregnated (faulty contraception).
When did christians and folk like yourselves get the right to interfere (and that is what anti abortionists do) in some lady's life?
Should she carry the baby to term just to keep you and your make-believe god happy?
Just look after yourself and allow other people to look after themselves, you have no right to impose your beliefs, religious or otherwise on anyone.

1. Because American women have been lead to believe that getting an abortion is like getting a mole removed from your nose. They hope that those women will vote for Ds.
2. The millions abroad ruled by evil dictators can't vote for Ds in USA.

What is the administration doing to secure the rights of millions ruled by evil dictators? What are they doing about millions of political prisoners in China? What are they doing about Saudi Arabia where women have no more rights than cattle? What are they doing about Cuba, Viet Nam and Cambodia?

People are responsible for their own countries. We are NOT responsible for the whole world and from what I have read about their opinion of America they don't want us in their business!!! History shows that people will over throw a dictator when they are ready too and not before> And again the only business that is America's is what goes on in America.

Because during the years conservative war efforts against country's that never attacked us have actually killed more babies.
More infants have been killed or maimed during conservative actions then anything.
And America isn't fighting for millions of Iraqi's were fighting because Saddam has weapons of mass destruction remember.
Funny how the story changes when WMD's were never found.

Why do conservatives believe that an embryo should be protected but don't give a damn about actual humans who have already been born?
They don't support programs that help out children born to poor parents.
They bomb every living organism in foreign countries who don't kiss our butts.
... and the list goes on.
Also, it is NOT about killing babies. It IS about a woman's right to choose. I don't know of anyone who is pro-death but I sure do know of a lot of people who are anti-choice.

Because a majority of the people that need abortions are living at the poverty level which equals the Democratic voting base. Unfortunately the Dems are the ones that keep them in poverty.

Well, as a bit of a liberal myself I actually believe in limited abortions or maybe some type of birth control. But if you didn't have legalized abortion, illegal abortions would happen just like the sell of drugs. So to keep it safe the government regulates it. I think it should have more regulations, but that is just me...
