I had the chickenpox a few weeks ago and the scars are still visible. I'm going to a party this weekend and I want to know what kind of foundation will be good enough to hide the scars without irritating them.

Bare Minerals! It improves your skin and it's so natural you can actually sleep in it without it breaking out your skin or irritating it. I had bad acne in the bast and have some scars on my face. I wear Bare Minerals everyday and people compliment how great my skin looks. It's expensive, but it lasts a long time. My suggestion (if you've never tried it) would go to either an Ulta store or a Sephora store and buy a Bare Minerals Starter Kit. It's $45 but comes with a DVD (How-To), flawless application brush, 2 foundations, Warmth (bronzer), and Mineral Veil (loose powder that sets the foundation and bronzer). I've been using it for a year now and my scars are actually going away, my acne is practically gone, and I couldn't be any happier. I'm sorry you had chicken pox. Have fun at the party.

Use foundation that is suitable for irritable skin because other wise you will be itching to high heaven with it, like you i have scars and tryed using one for normal skin types and my scar became red roar so i used one some sensitive skin and it does the job ;D i suggest using the brand maybeline or rimmel London hope this helps xXx

i would say that any foundation is not that good for you.. as ultimately it's blocking up your pores..and really for you, at the moment.. that's not a great idea.

However.. i understand.. it's a party you want to look good etc etc.

I wear clinique 2-1 foundation and powder when going out.. and also i wear tinted moisturisers alot which tan your skin too...and i use a concealer stick prior to applying this to cover up little blemishes .. ask your local department store with beauty counters as well, if you have time.. as to what they advise.. but watch that the most expensive counter doesn't recommend all their products!!

Your skin needs a chance to heal.. which it is doing.. so to be honest.. i'd use an non irratint "clinque" foundation as my last resort.. and firstly i'd use concealer (y st laurant touche clat).. cant spell today lol...and then tinted moisturiser.

enjoy your party.. hope it all goes well x

I think u should get a foundatation that doesnt irritate your skinand you would have to put on alot of that kind.I personally think u should get one with skin healing minerals so that your blemishes will heal faster or maybe u could mix your foundations one that hides blemishes and one from bare minerals

if u go to ur doctor and ask him, he will proble be able to tell u the name of a medical foundation that can cover the marks left by ur chickenpox, my mum used to have chicken pox scares and they gave her the name of a realy good foundation and u caould hardly tell they were there!

have fun at the party!

Buy something by Clinique or I.D. Bare Minerals. Those are the best foundations out there.

i think any foundation would irritate your scars, try using a pressed powder and take it to the party with you as you will need to reapply it every couple of hours or so......have a great time....
