Depends on your age and whether or not you've been married. There is a lot of value in avoiding sex too early in a relationship, particularly if you are young. It will tie you together in ways that you won't believe. The physical intimacy will force emotional intimacy. That can lead to unwanted marriage (you thought I was going to say pregnancy). On the other hand, if you've been married before, are over 30, waiting for marriage to lose your virginity doesn't make a lot of sense.

There is no easy answer here if you are really looking for the best answer. The first woman I had sex with was my wife. Though we peeked under the covers a few times before the wedding date, we didn't really learn what sex was all about until we had been married for a year or so. It just takes a while. I learned more about her and her fear of intimacy than I could have ever guessed. So, looking back, I'm thinking that it would have been better to have learned that before "I do." I was 25 when we got married. Probably could have done things differently.

I would personally wait til marriage just like I am doing now. I am currently single 20 years old and a virgin. I am waiting til that right time to meet the right person and experience sex on my wedding night.

I plan to wait but I asked a question slightly similar and it made me think about it... I might decide not to wait now

I feel that my answer will not be of your taste. It is better not to have sex with any one before your wife. these needs are not limited, it will not stop to a limit, so the original limit is the best, Be honest to your upcoming wife.

it all depends on how you feel about your partner. in my opinion, if you really care about that person, than sex is not your priority - there are more ways of being intimate. but if sex is all you want, then maybe marriage is just an excuse??

think about what you want - sex or marriage? they are two different issues.
