Anything the radio hasn't killed yet? Or local bands (California's east bay, or around San Francisco)?

The radio will never kill the White Stripes or Beck. Ever. They will retain their weirdness level until the sun goes out, and still be cool.

This is going to be random, but I say Nickel Creek. I don't like country of blues grass that much, but this band is just beyond good. They put on the best live shows and their first album is so good no one can dislike it. They are all really talented musicians and I don't think the radio has every played a single one of their songs.
