I've learned that no matter how bad you think that you have it, you shouldn't dwell on it and just give up because somewhere out there someone is in much worse of a situation than you are...I was taught this by my grandmother while she was in the hospital, I was quite young and it just wasn't natural to me that she didn't complain and cry because she was in so much pain and on her death bed, so of course I asked her and her reply was that she knew that there was someone out there worse of than her and she was just going to hang on and be grateful for what she had and wait out the storm. I have never forgotton that and now, no matter what happens I can still hear her saying those words and it gives me hope.

I've learned so many. The one that keeps nagging at me now is ... Don't listen to the Media as if it were Gospel. So many believe what they hear as if it is fact. They would be doing everyone a service if they would stop and think things through instead of repeating someone else's opinion.

I learned that everything really does happen for a reason, I mean i used to think that was just a corny line, but it's true i mean "you gotta take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what you've got and remember what you had" I learned this from my sisters death.

I learned that just because people can have children doesn't mean they should, but are given the opportunity so that maybe their child will be able to go to a family that can't have children.
I learned that from my parents and love them for loving me as if I was their own flesh and blood. Especially my dad cuz there are not a lot of men who would raise a child that was not his own and not act or love that child any less than if it was from his flesh and blood.

In every life we fell hurt or alone but these are the times when we feel lost and all around is falling apart are really bridges of growth.
We try to recapture the security of what was, but instead we emerge with new understanding, awareness and strength.
It is as though we have to go through the pain and struggle in order to grow and reach new heights.
I learned this when i got hurt and felt used by my first ever love. And the other loves of my life.
But if i din't go through the pain i would have never meet my lover, the one who has been waiting for me to love him back the way he loves me, i was going to give up on love until i meet him.
Never give up on anything just be patient and good things will come when they are supposed to.
