Can anyone tell me the name of the episode (TNG I think) when the floor went out of phase and back again, leaving some people trapped waste deep in the floor?
Sorry if this isn't much to go on!

It was TNG. The episode was called "In Theory" it was last fourth season episode before the finale. It was episode number 425. It originally aired in June of 1991.

What you mention was creepy when it happened. The Enterprise was in a "Dark Matter" nebula and little "holes" in space keep opening things up on the ship throughout the episode. Data's cat got out, the observation deck decompressed, and then that crew member fell 1/2 way through the deck and got stuck.

Maybe you're talking about the episode "Pegasus", where a cloaking device had been modified to phase the entire ship?

Cant remember that one as I was a fan, but I'm fed up of it now what with all the repeats. But I've heard they're bringing a new film out. Will watch that one.
B.t.w. I'm sure they'll repeat that episode your asking about !!!!!

I think it was the episode about the Traveller. Not sure about the title, though.
