Hazel eyes look beautiful regardless of mascara, although if you really do insist, brown is the way to go.
A deep, not necessarily dark, brown, will contrast nicely with a bright hazel, whereas a black would tend to either drown out or overly emphasize the eyes. After all, you don't want to look like a bat! If you are a brunette, try to find a brown that's slightly deeper in hue than your hair color.
Wish you all the best!

If your eyes are a dark hazel color you might want to use the black to really compliment them but if not then brown would definitely be the best choice for you, especially having light skin. Hope this helps!

I have hazel eyes too, and fairly light skin, I use brown-black for daywear and black for nightime, becasue the brown-black looks kinda natural.

Brown for sure.
Fashion tip: 1st you put a light tracing of creamy white or powdery white around the lower lids. Then you use the brown mascara to stretsc the eyelashes. You will notice that glassy, yet seductive appeal to your eyes. You go girl!!!!!!!!!

Black always make an eye color POP, but if you want to opt for a softer, less bold look than use brown

Well I have hazel eyes too and I have figured out that black makes your eyes look bigger and brown makes them look more slick!

i would go with a mocha brown color,it is a mix of black and brown, with more brown then black. then, to compliment and accentuate, put on a light brown-white eyeshadow mix and mocha brown eyeliner. to go with it, choose a blush that is slightly darker than your skin tone.this look has always worked for those who i gave it to, so i hope it works for you.

Brown, because black will tend to make your eyes look darker.
