Yes, it IS!!! I watch it as well, and it unfailingly cheers me up when I need cheering up. And why deny yourself that? I'm 22, but I still believe in cartoons, cheap plastic party favors, and fruit snacks. Other people might think imbecilic of me, but I'm able to take care of myself at the same time. I'm working towards supporting myself and am currently working where, not to honk my own horm, I work very hard and do a good job. So there's no shame in Spongebob, and just consider yourself lucky to see the beauty in the show while others might renounce it. I know I do.
Additional note: It's also true that there are some jokes in Spongebob that you wouldn't be able to get until you're older. Such as a recent episode where Spongebob and Patrick spot some grafitti on a dumpster, where the word 'f-ck' is written. They don't understand what it means, but nevertheless they decide to go around and use it constantly in their nonchalance. So their speech is pretty punctuated with a bunch of 'beeps' and consists of things like "Hi, f'ing Mr. Krabs! Isn't today such a f'ing lovely day?" It was HILARIOUS.

Yes, it is fine. Spongebob has the kind of charm that appeals to the young and old alike. Believe me, I know. My little sisters adore Spongebob I have seen a few adults that have laughed nonstop at Spongebob. It's okay, it's a cute show. As long as it's not Beavis and Butthead, you're fine.

Spongebob is a very age show! Come on my 45 year old dad still watches that show! I still watch that show! I think Spongebob is cool, and if you don't respect me, you'll have to come through me.

Of course! You like what you like! My 50 year old stepfather LOVES Spongebob Squarpants. He bought a Spongebob icecream scoop and when he and my mother elooped he was wearing a Spongebob Tee-shirt.

If you like a guy who lives in a pineapple...sure...what people do in the privacy of their own living-room is no ones business...dont sweat the small stuff...my nephew is 30 and watches the family guy...the simpsons...as long as you're not hurting anyone why not???

My 24 year old son watches it. I think the cut off is around 40. I hate it and my husband despises it. My granddaughter got him a sponge bob cake and sponge bob boxers for his birthday last year cause he hates him so badly. It was funny. He almost didn't eat the cake!

I am 42 and watch with my kids.
But I admit I have been caught watching when no one else was around.
Not always, but more than once.
But if he had a life, he would not visit this website...like the rest of us!

No, spongebob has so much hidden humor inside of it that you wouldn't be able to get it unless you were older.
