i'm a girl and there's this guy that i like and he likes me too, and were going swimming. personally i think i look horrible when my hair is wet and knotted and stuff. how can i still look good even though my hair's messed up and my makeup may run alittle?

don't wear make up when you go swimming, so you don't look like a racoon, and try to get through your hair first, when your under the water, make sure that your hair doesn't get all knotted up.

To keep your makeup from running, don't wear any...it's kinda silly to see chicks at the beach or pool in makeup anyway...it screams vanity and/or insecurity (and most guys these days tend to prefer a more natural look)...
Your hair will get wet if you swim, that's just how it is...if he likes you dry but thinks you're horrid when wet, then he's not the guy for you (too shallow)...perhaps take a ballcap or something to put on your wet hair to cover it if you feel it looks too bad...
Basically though, just be yourself...you'll score far more points than trying to keep perfect hair and makeup, while participating in an activity that requires neither and actually makes them almost impossible...

Don't wear makeup when you go swimming. It looks really silly. Plus, when your eyelashes will be all shiny and long and curly when they're wet, and that's natural...the activity will give you a nice glow, and again, wet lips from the pool looks like lipgloss! so chillax!
As for your hair, do whatever is comfortable! You can tie it back, or give yourself some cute pigtail french braids. Very stylish, it'll stay out of your way, and it won't look very different wet.
More imortantly though, who cares? Really. You're going swimming. His hair is going to look different too.

well if the guy only likes you because of your looks then you got a problem...otherwise dont worry about it. Dont wear makeup thats just weird- i mean, if you want you can go buy some waterproof makeup but yeah i dunno, maybe put your hair in a braid or a pony so that it wont be all over the place.....i personally think you should wear it down and just make sure that whenever you go under water and come up again your hair is slicked back and not all over your face (if you come out slowly and use your hands to push it back as you come out of the water he might think thats sexy LOL), but do whatever you want to feel comfortable. Just wear a cute bathing suit and youll be fine!!

Why should you wear makeup when you know you're going to get your face wet? Just be natural. Brush your hair before you go, and bring a hair elastic. Smile and laugh and be yourself.
(Plus, if he likes you, he must think you look pretty good no matter what.)

Don't wear much makeup, and believe me, guys couldn't care less about your hairstyle. Strangely, I've had more guys hit on me after a workout at the gym (when I'm certainly looking less than my best) than when I'm all fixed up dining out at a restaurant. It's all about your attitude, not your hair. Guys like girls who know how to have fun and know when not to be so concerned about their looks.

Keep your hair in a ponytail, use waterproof mascara, and use sunless tanner on your face for a more natural, even complexion.

Just cob your hair straight back.....put a little lipstick on after you get out of the pool and you will be fine.

u should go to target and get u a bathin suit they r so cute!!!!or walmart.(i perfer walmart cus they swim suit r cuter and cheaper.u could go to walmart or target.com and search for swim suit and it will show u what they got @ the store and what they only got online.(i hope i helped u)
