i want to see clerks 2 and i am 14
could he take me?
or does the person have to be older than 18 ?

the MPAA rating for a movie is not a LAW--it depends on who is selling the tickets if they let younger people in. 17 is allowed to see R rated movies and can buy tickets if they ACCOMPANY anyone younger such as yourself

Of course. People 17 and older are allowed to see rated R movies and they're allowed to bring minors in with them.

Yes, a 17 year old can see it, but they can't buy other tix for it. I guess he could try going to two different ticket windows or something if the theater is big...
