I saw one when I was living in Albuquerque N.M..in fact he lived with me..I called him Louis. He was a Music Teacher that died in the house. I could hear him walking around and banging on the walls as if he was fixing things. Once I was putting on my make up and thru my mirror I saw "Louis" standing behind me. When "he" realized that I had seen him..he darted into my daughter's bedroom and slammed the door. I couldn't open the door for hours...My sister was there visiting and when she was undressing in her room..."Louis" whistled at her. Then "he" started to get "mean" ..My sister hung up a doll on the wall...and she told me that the doll would laugh an evil laugh...the doll had no way of having batteries installed into it. So when I saw that doll do that when I walked in..I took it off the wall and buried it...LOL...He was really a harmless Ghost...nothing real scarey...just LOUD . I saw his shadow walking around my house with a Rake...LOL...He just LOVED his house....I moved out because of all the noise.

Never seen a ghost, but in a Cryptozoological context, I once saw a milk-white cat walking across the street in a residential neighborhood whose front shoulders were taller than the hood of my car!

It crossed in front of me while I was driving home; it was about 12:45 at night, I was a freshman in college. It was approximately 30 yards in front of me. The creepy thing about it was that it seemed to move so lithely for what was obviously a several hundred pound animal. But even more eerie is that it turned to look at me as it crossed in front of me, and seemed to look right at me. It gave me goose bumps, on top of the gaped jaw I already had. I was in my car, and for some reason got the impression that it had the strength to have broken through the window if it wanted to get me.

As I came parallel to it, it was jumping over a 7 ft tall wooden fence between two yards. It was obviously a very powerful animal.

I wasn't seeing things; in fact I called the police and reported it, I assumed that a large cat had escaped from the zoo.

Although I have no independent proof of this, I found it interesting that this news report (see link below) was put out in my home town a few years later. Since this is a Bigfoot web page, it seems to leave out that the residents of the neighborhood in question believe it was a large cat-like creature, not a Bigfoot.

I used to see what I thought were ghosts when I was a kid, but quit seeing them about the age of 7. The scariest thing I've ever seen? Being in a fire fight at night so intense it looked like it was sunrise: while being covered in blood and not knowing if it was you own! Hope that's not too graphic. But you asked.

I have always had a gift of seeing metaphysical beings. Every house that I can remember living in I've seen a ghost of some kind whether it be a ghost or a cold feeling passing thru me, around me or what have you. the scariest thing that has ever happened to me was the last house I lived in my boyfriend and I were cleaning it out so that we could move in and in one of the bedrooms was a baby doll. I bumped it and it called me momma. I wasn't the only one who heard it either, my boyfriend and two other friends heard it, too. My boyfriend decided to tear the doll apart to see if there was a voicebox in it. There wasn't. There was no way possible for the doll to call me momma. Later we found out that a friend of ours' g-ma had died in that room. My boyfriend dismantled the doll and did NOT find a voicebox or any thing that could explain why it called me momma. Freaky!!

We have seen real sprits and we have heard real sprits. My husband one night ws sitting watching tv and this oval shape came down from stairs and when it got to the bottom of the steps it formed the shape of a lady dressed in 1800 clothes walked into the kitchen then into our sons room my husband followed it and she was standing next to my son bed she looked at my husband and was gone. In the same house we had these dark orange colored spots on our hard wood floor and when I would mop them they would go away but when the floor was dry the next day the would be back they where not huge about the size of a dime or penny. So I took a scraping off of the floor and took it ot work with me.. it was blood. Then one day when we where comg in from the park we heard a loud bang up stairs and then closet doors slam. We took off up stairs and when we got up there all the built in dresser drawers where opend and clothes on the floor and the windows where shut and no one was in there. Each night before I go to sleep I ahve to say "OK I'm going to bed now so please just leave me alone I am really tired. If I dont I get noises and lights and its a mess and my 14 yr old does the same thing. The other people in our house and they never sleep well..so yeah ghost are real.

It would either have to be when I was 5. There were 6 of us playing house upstairs in my home. Since I was the youngest, and smallest I was the baby. My cousin was carrying me into the south bedroom, when the ghost floated across the room, not touching the floor. It was a transluscent, filmy white, you could almost see through it. My cousin and I both saw it, but noone else did. We all ran downstairs, and sat with our parents in the living room for the rest of the evening.
But one time, at a different home I saw a huge cat-human sort of thing standing upright in the arched doorway to the kitchen. It was partially dressed in human clothing. It looked so real, but it vanished before my eyes. I was terrified.

Ghosts don't exist. I believe that many people truly believe they've seen them, but I also believe they are mistaken. Call it sleeplessness, sleepwalking, hallucinating, wishing, superstition, peer pressure, or anything else of the sort. Seriously, think about it. If ghosts truly exist, their existence would not be controversial anymore. I encourage you all to investigate James Randi's million dollar challenge at the source below.

The scariest thing I ever saw was a Faces of Death video. And I will regret having watched that for the rest of my life. Shame on me :(

There was something wierd standing near my bed once. It was small, like a child would be, but it didn't have any shoulders and if it was standing sideways, no nose. I told myself it was the computer chair, which is weird because we don't have a computer chair anywhere in the house, nor anything that big and black.

My friend was babysitting this kid, and the playroom was attached to the living room and she was watching the kid play with some toy, and from the playroom she heard "Come play with me!!" and the kid turns to the room and says "Not now chopper!" It turned out that 'Chopper' was his toy helicopter that had been off for three days that decided to turn on on its own.

Only a couple weird things like that have heppend to me. Alot of my friends have some pretty weird experiences and they don't play with Ouija boards or anything...

Don't know if you would call it a ghost, but there is a dark shadow about 6 ft. 3in that wanders about the house. My children, pets and myself have all encountered it. We don't let him scare us. We tell him that we mean no harm to him and hope the same from him. So far nothing other than calling our names has happened. The biggest annoyance is the puppies bark and growl nonstop at the figure. Before this one there was a little girl that roamed around my room and the hallway. We told her to go to God. We haven't seen her since.
