I'm in the ca.desert too. It's nuts out here!
Why is it so humid? I live in the desert for a reason. I like it nice and dry.... My sister and I came out of the movie theater last night at 10pm and it was STILL hot and humid. Like, 90 degrees. I hear this is it until summer is over. Think October. If you find a way to keep cool and dry let me know!

I live in OK and the weather here has been extreme, too. It is normally in the low 90s in July and has been over 100 for several days - most days over 105 - and there is no end in sight. We have no rain, no clouds, and the cotton crop will fail if we don't get those things soon. All we have is heat and wildfires. It's like someone built a weather machine and is turning the entire world into a desert.
