i have an ex girlfriend who is currently in jail serving a 13 year sentence and who i still have contact with through letters. i recently found out from a woman who was a cellmate of hers that my ex had a lesbian encounter in the shower a few months ago and even though i know ill probably never see her again it still bothers me. my question is, should it bother me and if you guys were me how would you react when you found this out

O.K. I'm a girl and for the record never had a lesbian experience, but dude listen she's in jail!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I were in jail for 13 yrs, yeah I'd probably experience the same sex. I really wouldn't take it so personal o.k. if she was out in the real world chance are that she would have a lesbian experience would be a lot less.

Why would it bother you if she is your ex and in jail? Well being in jail for quite sometime and not being exposed with men makes women want sex so they turn to another women. Why would it bother you she must of done something terribly wrong to be in prison for 13 years.

Dude if shes in the joint then shes gotta do what shes gotta do!! It`s a whole different world in there and shes trying to survive. Doesn`t mean she likes it she might have been forced into doing it!! Theres things that go on in the joint that would make a billygoat puke!! The stuff you see on tv is not even a little portion of what happens in there!! You might want to go see her if you care so much!!

It should only bother you if she was still your girlfriend. If you care for her as a friend then you should support her decisions, especially if they are going to help her cope in prison. Maybe she just wanted some affection.

You set the standards for your relationship. It wouldn't bother me. I'd think it was kinda cool. Why does it bother you? Do you feel less a person? Your trust has been betrayed? What?

No....certainly it would not affect my love to her.....what your ex experienced in cell is one thing and your committment in loving her is another thing...and thats the most precious thing or feeling for you. Its really immaterial whether you see her again or never see, but don't let your love mix up with that happening in her life over there in cell.

personally, a lesbian encounter wouldnt bother me really. If she 'turned' total lebian, thats a different story.

do you plan on being together upon her release? if not, then who cares. im not tryin to sound heartless but 13 years-- ofcourse she'll have plenty of lesbian experiences. if i found out my boyfriend had a gay experience while incarcerated i'd flip out and leave him.
