Or do you go for social reasons?For fashion,gossip,or to just look like or feel like a(good) person?
I personally go to hear the word and praise him with others who do the same.The Bible says do not forsake the gathering together the saints.Yes i can worship and pray at home and i do but i also go to church!
People who drink and get drunk like to go to bars and be with like minded people so why do some think its so unreasonable to gather at church?

I think it is wonderful for people to gather at church. I just don't agree with most of the hypocrisy involved. I wasn't raised going to church but, always wanted to. I did go to a few different churches with friends as I was growing up. When I finally decided to go as an adult I was judged by many that attended. So... I tried going to a different church. They were not warm and inviting either. I know there are churches that aren't out there somewhere. I just haven't found one yet. I get upset when I realize that I may be more of a believer and follower than most who were raised going to church and feel that it is just the thing to do. I've learned much from the bible but I have to say Matthew 7:1 should be taught during church services. And the many that feel righteous because they do attend church (I'm not referring to you) should stop and ask themselves if they are being Christians.

I go to church to hear a word from God. Sometimes when things aren't the way you think they should be,God give you a word of understanding . It may be something in your marriage,your children, friends or just to help someone. God's word will help us to better cope with this world and people. I thank God for his word. All glory and honor goes to God. As for me and my house we will praise the Lord! We should praise God always.

cause people have the right to believe in whatever they want to its the power of free will. but ur doing the right thing dont let those people get u all in whack state of mind. its just the devil trying to throw you off ur game but be strong.
