I've lived in North Carolina for over 9 years and I absolutely love it here! I have lived in many states in this country and I am proud to call North Carolina my home. There is a wide variety of "atmospheres" in North Carolina...there are beautiful mountains, beaches and scenery. There are great restaurants, clubs, university towns, just about anything you could want. The people are pretty openminded and friendly. I love it here. You should definitely check it out if you're considering moving here or vacationing! It's awesome!

i went there for spring break this year on topsail island. i absolutely love north carolina. the environment is beautiful - even the roads are well kept-up. they have plants on the side of the road, which looks like tobacco but i dont think it is. ive driven through a lot of the state and its just totally different from other places ive been. if you like nicolas sparks, most of his books take place in north carolina - the notebook takes place in new bern, which is an hour away from topsail. other books he has that have been made into movies are a walk to remember and message in a bottle. a walk takes place in NC, and parts of message take place in NC as well. i definately recommend it for a vacation or to even live.

The mountains to the west are very different from the coast. Which part of the state are you interested in?

beautiful! my step-gramma livess there, and i go and visit her once a year!! not enough though! it is very scenic, and the people are really nice!! even if they are hillbillies!!

IT IS VERY NICE AND IF YOU GET A HOUSE THERE IT USUALLY COMES WITH A LOT OF LAND

its very nice but the ppl suck in many places but they do help u when u need it
