Oh yes, of course; pick the film that simply matches your tastes. Don't look for the answer that is best-supported. That would be too intelligent.
My favorite film is Vertigo. It's an incredible artistic masterpiece, masterfully-arranged and richly textured, and the visionary Alfred Hitchcock's most profound and personal work.
