The US didn't go to the moon, not in 1969 or any other time. Anyone can tell you that. The US has remained firmly attached to North America (not counting Hawaii) since it's founding.

Several Americans did go to the moon in 1969. Three times in Apollos 10 thru 12. But that's different.

Yes, we did.
There is no doubt. Seriously. Those people who say we didn't are saying that because there is money to be made in people's distrust of government and science.
But this is not a matter of opinion, in any way, shape or form. It is provable, demonstrable FACT that we went to the moon.

Educate yourself. Don't let the legions of bullshitters lead you astray.

PS-Kathy-the movie you are thinking of was called Capricorn 1. It also had OJ Simpson in it. It was actually a trip to mars that they faked. That is the primary source of the "conspiracy." Another bad one is the Fox special a few years ago that showed ONLY the hoaxers, and didn't present any real science.

Everyone-No, it is absolutely NOT a possibility that the moon landings were faked. The people that perpetuate the hoax would like you to think that there is some grey area. There isn't. Every word they utter is crap. The Moon landings ABSOLUTELY DID HAPPEN.

I think you may have misstated your question. There is no way to measure how many people believe this. I am sure most do. There are always some people prepared to take the opposite position on any issue, but the majority usually demonstrate better judgment and wisdom. They did land on the moon several times.

No one with an IQ above 50 believes we faked it.

If we had faked the moon landing the first people to scream it would have been our arch enemies, the USSR. They knew the radio broadcasts were coming from there.

Today with a powerful telescope you can see the Apollo 11 landing site still today.... and the rovers and everything else we left there on the other missions.

Technically, a person from the USA went to the moon. The USA is still on Earth.

Well it's a distinct possibility. There was even a movie made about how it was faked. Elliot Gould was in it, can't recall the name but the title had "Saturn" in it.

I remember when the ship was launched it rained for days.
Something went up there, who knows what. The Nixon government was capable of anything, just like the current American government.

I read something about it in a book called

the 60 greatest conspiracies of all time.

If the evidence they talk about is true, then the US did not go to the moon.

I did not have a chance to review the tapes of the moon landing to evaluate if what the books talks about is true.

I wonder sometimes. If we had the knowledge to get to the moon back then, why haven't we gone back? You think we would have taken advantage of being able to go there. We are a show off country, so why haven't we been back.
