I love fat gurls and I think they're really hot. I would love to see them become popular in the media. You see all these really skinny women like paris hilton and girls acting like her because the media says shes hot when I find her a really ugly and gross looking slut. All I'm saying is that we (and I) need fat gurls in Hollywood

It's easier to make clothes for skinny people than for bigger people. Also, most people don't like to watch another person jiggle.

This has to be traced back to corporate history and the business of selling. If you look back 50 years ago mainly businesses and magazines were catering to housewives so they advertised pots and pans, curtains and other household items. Today things have changed and womens lifestyles has changed so they have to sell different items like beauty products. The only way to do this is to create a beauty standard and then market from there.
So skinny girls like paris hilton are the reinforment of these standards. So don't hold your breath on it especially in Hollywood!
Although they are not real and its an illusion of corporate selling, women fail to see that but trust me the smart ones do. If you look around you most women don't look like Paris Hilton. We know that most men like some meat and personality in their women but somehow this is still and effective way of selling goods.
So far the only read ads are the ones by Dove and I am looking forward to that change in all ads but it won't happen anytime soon.

What is it with you yanks? Why can you just have healthy sized women in the media. It seems like you all either like skinny or fat girls, what about everything in between? 70% of you are overweight or obese, another 20% are underweight and only 10% of you are actually what would be considered a healthy weight, what a screwed up society you live in.
You don't need fat girls or skinny girls in Hollywood, what you need are slim girls with some meat on their bones and curves in the right places, who are good role models for young girls in society and attractive to the opposite sex.

They don't want fat people in the media because fat people are usually unhealthy and they don't want to show that unhealthy is good. Young people look up to the media so if they show unhealthy people young kids will think its ok for them to be fat and unhealthy too.
