i know it is where the ubilical cord is from. but is there really another use for it?

Your navel is nothing more than a healed wound from when you were in your Mother's placenta. That's how you received nutrients. Through the umbilical cord. Once you're born, it's cut and after the wound/stump heals, you're left with a belly button. It serves no purpose from that point on.

when your born there is a vilical cord thats atached there so when your still in the stomach when your mom eats some food goes in there and then you eat when your born they cut it but it will still be there then the cord will go away

That's where your umbilical cord was attached to your mother. When you were born and they cut it, that is what's left of it.
