Some do, mine does. We have been together for 4 years and both in our 20's. We started out with 3somes then swinging. The open relationship term came up and have been doing it ever since. We do have some rules, like we need to know when something is going to happen and it is limited to 1 guy for her, or girl, and 1 girl for me. We don't just go out and find whoever. Then at the the end of the night we talk about it and can be quite the turn on. Just knowing we are having sex with another at the time eachother is, is a great turn on... for us.

Sometimes but not usually. Why be 'together' if you are also going to be with other people? All it really means is that you are incapable of being faithful nor do you have any desire to be faithful so you'll give it a label that makes it ok. Not to mention that if you truly love someone you don't want to be with someone else. Basically i just don't see the point, what does being together actually mean then? Besides sooner or later someone will always fall for someone else and break whatever 'rules' you set up, the human emotions aren't good at following rules.

tease, i would agree with most it doesnt work. if i met a stripper and fell in love i might be more enclined to be ok with her stripping. same is true if i met someone while at a swingers party, i might be more inclined to be ok with swinging. but to take a realationship from one extreme to the other, is a recipie for divorce in most cases. if you do decide to open the relationship then expect the worse but hope for the best and you both have to understand you can never use this as a tool of arguement... good luck and i hope everything comes off well ....(all pun intended)

I have known people who tried this, but they didn't stay together very long. I don't know if it was due to the couples themselves or due to sharing the most intimate part of marriage with anyone they came across.
