Doesnt the 2nd movie end when theyre all going to look for Jack Sparrow? I think maybe they made the cliffhanger ending because they know that some people wont want to watch the third movie if Jacks not in it, so they made it so people will watch the movie just to find out how the story ends.

Jack Sparrow will be on the third film. Johnny Depp already said that plus I saw some pictures of him while they were filming it in some websites.

With Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest about to take the top box office spot for a third weekend in a row, Walt Disney Pictures unveiled the first footage from the third installment at the San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday. While it was previously believed to carry the subtitle "At World's End," those words were not included in the presentation and we're expecting you'll be hearing a new subtitle soon. (Spoilers ahead!)
The footage was about two minutes long and included brief interviews with producer Jerry Bruckheimer and Orlando Bloom. Chow Yun-Fat's character had many speaking lines in the clip, which featured lots of Singapore floating village shots, a rescue Captain Jack Sparrow scene, a scene where Sparrow has to convince the crew to run back and forth on the shipdeck to rock a ship over, Jack the undead monkey in Chinese Warrior armor, shots of Barbossa and Sparrow amid a huge shipboard sword battle, and a swordfight between Sparrow and Davy Jones atop a crows nest in a giant storm.
Pirates of the Caribbean 3 hits theaters on May 25, 2007.

I think that Jack Sparrow will be in the next movie. I mean how can they not make Pirates of the Carribean 3 without him in it.

They would not make a movie without him in it. So what if he was swallowed by that great, big sea creature, he's Captin Jack Sparrow, he can get out of anything. And besides, Johnny Depp is already signed up for the movie.

They're already starting to film the 3rd part in a few weeks, and Jack Sparrow is definitely going to be in it. They interviewed Johnny Depp himself. So there.

Yes he is definitely gonna be in the third one. He said (Johnny) that if they made a fourth one he would definitely want to be in that one, too. Plus, what kind of movie would it be without Sparrow? He's the life of the party! It would be impossible. I wouldn't go see it. Well, maybe I would, but I would hate it.
