love is just that love.
You know you are in love if when you go to bed at night you are thinking about him/her and when you wake up smiling and thinking about him/her and wondering what you are going to do today.
I knew when I saw my husband that he was the one just by the way we clicked it was like he knew everything to make me happy without having to ask.
and it was the same with me i just knew what made him happy and after 12 years we are still very much in love and act like teenagers.

No one really knows. Scientists and poets have been trying to answer this for centuries. It's just a special thing that God gave us. There do seem to be chemicals involved in the initial attraction (pheromes), but by the time true love has developed, there is so much more involved. A very complex phenomenon.

national geographic did an article on that (in february 2006 I think...on the cover there is a close up of a guy's and a girl's faces). You might want to go check that out. They do think there are some connections in the brain...it's really long and complicated to explain here, though...I might end up rewriting the article.

The hormonal and chemical adjustments of the concepts is what makes you, you. you ought to no longer inject somebody with hormones to lead them to love you. it somewhat is a little greater complicated than that. Hormones and chemical compounds are in basic terms area of it.

It's a mixture of the remnants of lust and the crippling human fear of being alone in an inhospitable universe where everyone inevitably dies alone.
Sorry I've been reading Lovecraft a lot lately.

Love is that feeling that you feel deep down in your soul. When you see the person that you love you get all tingley and smiley. You may also get nervous and clumpsy. Love is strong. But lossing a love is the worse.

There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.
