Would you stay with a man that was mean to your children (they are not his children), just to have a man? Or, would you put your kids first and stay the heck away from him? I personally would put my kids first...always have!

Definitely kids. If the man that is hanging around your children is mean to them then they will either learn to copy his actions and be mean as well or become insecure, etc. Any man who will treat YOUR kids, or any kids that way does not deserve a place in your family life!

Frankly, being a man (Although not a mean man) I am not sure that I could ever respect a woman who would choose me and my "mean" ways over her own kids. In fact, I would really wonder why she wanted to stay with me in the first place.
So if you are a confused woman in this type of a situation? Dump the bastard and hug your kids even more than you already do!

Too many men out there who would treat the kids better. If a man mistreated my children, I'd move on in a heartbeat. My children would be a part of me. If a man is hurtful to my child, he is hurtful to me. That would mean he didn't truly love or respect me.

i dont have any children of of course i would put my children first...even more because according 2 ur ques. this person is stay w. the guy only cause she want a man. Someone who misabuses kids isnt even a man at all in my opinion!

Nothing is worth that and in the long run it will be your childen that will suffer for it not just you and why do i say that because they will be the ones watching how he treat you and when they grow up they will be the same way to there wife or girlfriend and if they are girls settle for what you have and i know you want better for them

you need a man,but your kids come first,not saying he is not inportant to you all, but in that case you just have to do whats best for you and the kids,you go girl..

You don't even have to ask. You know the answer. Children come first. Period. No "ifs-ands-or-buts" about it. (BTW, if he is mean to your children, he will eventually be mean to you.) You don't want a person - ANY person - like that in your life.

Pick youre kids over the guy trust me my dad choose his girls over me and I had a bad life because of it
