Chain link fence is about $7 a foot around here. Ornate custom fencing can be a as priced as you want it. Figure about $17 a foot for split rail type fencing. Call a fence contractor and just get estimates. Some will give you rough cost over the phone, other will come to your property to measure.

Depends what type of fencing. If it's a wooden privacy fence and you are doing the work yourself, plug in about $9 lf. (Depending on where you live in the world). Some places are higher and some are lower. Good Luck
