I am looking into job options and think that this is something that interests me. I want to go to the local college to get my associates degree in early childhood education and work with headstart programs and daycares. Does anyone out there work in this field..and if so do you like it? What kind of money does it make?

At the preschool level, you'll probably be making around minimum wage. I wish it were more, but that is what I experienced when I worked with that age group. I'm looking at going back to school to be certified as a teacher now because the pay is better and I just like to work with children.
