MY friend's account has been COMPROMISED by an ex-boyfriend. It is full of obscene and profane words and pictures. I want to get it removed before she comes back. She is currently mourning the death of her mother and has left the country. He voicemail box is full.
How can I get myspace to remove it until she can take care of it?

I do not want to post the link...it is too graphic and I do not want to have people responding to her as if this is a popularity stunt for myspace.

I have refrained from emailing him as I do not think this guy is a very smart individual...this is an ex EX...like from a year ago. I am not giving him the satisfaction of knowing he has upset anyone. If I can get it cleared before she gets back, I can break it to her easier rather than her finding it first.

contact Tom, inform him of the circumstances, and I'm sure he'll give you full control of the account if you give him the details about her account and if you can confirm that she's actually your friend.

Sad as it seems, it is really between your friend and her ex-boyfriend.

On the other hand, you could send the following URLs to her ex-boyfriend and mention that defamation and libel are serious crimes in the United States and the United Kingdom, among other places.

Of course, if her boyfriend or his friends are violent, it would be dangerous for you to even communicate with him. Right?

Also, seeing how he treats people he dislikes, you could be joining your friend on her page of shame if you say anything to him that he does not like. You do not want that, do you?

It might be better to let him dig his own hole.

Threre is no reason for you to join your friend in her personal problems. She apparently made a bad decison about who to get involved with before she knew more about them.

You on the other hand, already know he is not someone to get involved with now. Consider yourself the luckier one, so far.
