My cousin's nickname is Chicken-man...he's had it since birth and now he's like 34. It's cuz when my aunt went into labor with him, she refused to go to the hospital until she got some fried chicken (really bad timing for a food craving). Her water broke and everything, she was in pain from the contractions but she still wanted the damn chicken!! Only one chicken place out the whole city was open during that time of night...but in the end she did get the bucket of chicken (which funnily calmed her down) and had the baby in like 10 minutes of getting to the hospital... and my cousin's been stuck with Chicken-man all his life. But he's 6'3'' and like 280 lbs. so don't make fun of him...and only a few priviledged family members (myself included) can call him that or you'll get the pissed glare. And as I said how big he was before, you don't want him to act on it!!

I have a friend nicknames ferret, from when I was stuck with him at school during our first weeks there. It originated from his innocent smile when accused of something looking incredibly rodentlike. That was in 1998 and its still going strong. Strangely it it seems to be spreading faster than anticipated.

Sminya. We used to take a mate out drinking, and always said, 'Get some of this in ya' Eventually, 'Get some in ya' and finally through laziness and drunkeness, 'sminya'
Somehow, it stuck.
