First you should exfoliate your skin with a scrub. You can buy one at any drugstore or you can make your own by adding alittle bit of sugar with a cup of your favorite shower gel and scrub up real good in the shower. If you want you can also use sea salt from the grocery store. There are also wooden exfoliating brushes you can buy from Target or Wal mart and dry brush your skin BEFORE you get in the shower. That also helps your circulation. Then if your light skinned you can use a gradual self tanner like the one from Jergens. It will gradually give you a nice bit of color and soften your skin. If your skins darker you can exfoliate and then add a darker self tanner like Lore`al Deep. Make sure you continue to use a heavy moisturizer and stay out of the sun. It's tempting to lay out all day but it will catch up with you and make you look old and causes wrinkles. It can even cause skin cancer no matter what color your skin is. Be safe, drinks lots of water and moisturize, moisturize, moisturize-Hope this helps. If your skin is two different colors on your face you can use a peel and make-up but ,you should see a dermatologist first!
