I have lost 9lbs in a week just by drinking plenty of water, eating sandwiches without cheese. generally eat less, but try to keep away from the dairy products.
Eat an apple every day, it's supposed to be good at getting rid of the fat. And horseradish too.

Good luck with the weight loss and hope you get pregnant as soon as you start trying. but remember when you're pregnant eat well and healthy but not for two.

You need to eat less calories than you burn off, so try to think healthier when you chose food, and do more exercise.

You may have luck if you try Slimming World, as it doesn't make you feel deprived.

If having a baby isn't motivation enough, then I don't know what would be. Get 2 bags and make them weigh 2 stone... carry them around with you all day and you will get a small understanding of what it is like to carry around a pregnancy bump (only the reality is harder).

I have never been over 14 stone but I was bigger when I had my second child than my first, and the labour was harder, I was more tired, the pregnancy was more exhausting and it was a slower recovery afterwards. Seriously, you really should lose the weight if you can.

Good luck.

I'm not sure how much that is but the best thing to do is just change your eating style and get moving. Don't do fad diets. Instead, look at your portion size and adjust it accordingly. You should never eat until you feel stuffed, only comfortable. Eat lean protein, whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies and low fat dairy. Get about 40 min of cardio exercise a day and about 3-4 days of weight training. Good motivational technique would be to buy a few cute baby things and remind yourself that you are doing this for your baby. So it can be healthy in utero but so you can give him/her a good example of healthy living.

First, you will need to understand the difference between LOSE (to not have it anymore) and LOOSE (not tight).

The easiest way to LOSE weight is to stick less in the top hole than comes out the bottom whole, therefore reducing the remainder. If you are horrible at math, no diet will ever work.

hi there ive heard good things about the gi diet which as far as i can make out is supposed to be really good for losing weight while trying to conceive as (it's really healthy wholegrains ect), i know it's hard to lose weight and it's easy for some people to say stop eating as much but sometimes it's not that simple, i know how hard it is first hand how hard it is to lose weight.

if you dont fancy going to the gym, ( and god i dont blame you!)
you could try and get a few excercise vids in
which really seem to help me get motivated (most of the time)

Before becoming pregnant with my first I lost 50 pounds by eating a low carb/low glycemic diet. It is best to try to lose weight before becoming pregnant! But overweight women can, and do, have healthy pregnancies all the time. Take care of yourself, get a great OB team - and you and your baby will have it made!

i had the same problem as you when i was trying for a baby,i am now happy and 5 months pregnant, i had a goal of shedding 2st before i was able to have any luck with getting pregnant, but due to my condition PCOS the Dr's put me on a course of metformin which helps you lose weight but it's usually given to people with diabetes.so try going to your Dr's for advice and other methods of weight loss and fertility drugs

Eat more fruit and veg,. bulk all meals up with that.

Keep away from food with high fat content.

Joining a weight class is a good tool to keep you on track.

Try and do it slowly, as it is more likely to stay off.

Try Grapefruit diet. It goes like - eat half a grapefruit before (with) every meal and thats it. You dont need to cut down your food or anything. Eat whatever you want but just eat half a grapefruit before it. I m sorry I can not give you more details like you gave for my questions but I m sure you will find out through internet about it. Thank you!
