You could find a new trendy haircut in one of those hair cutting magazines, get highlights, or change the color of your hair. (Just remember to stick with a style that will work with your hair's texture) Go to a salon, and consult a hair stylist if your unsure wether a certain style will work for you.

If you wear glasses you could try new frame style or contacts. You could even try colored contacts. (See your eyecare professional for this.)

You could buy some different clothing, that is not of your typical style. (For example buy from Hot Topic for an edgy look or Dilliards or someplace like that for a more upscale look, it just depends on what look you want to achieve) If you are on a budget, you can usually find trendy second hand stores, that carry name brand clothing. Ask friends and family, they should be able to help you find these types of stores.

If you've never had you nails done, maybe have a manicure or nail tips put on. (Ask around your friends and family, to find a reputable nail salon.)

Try a new look for your makeup, if you are unsure what look to try, go to a cosmetics counter at Famous bar or someplace similar and ask for a demonstration. (If they think you are going to buy, they are usually quite helpful)
But if you are on a tight budget, just keep a mental note of their suggestions and try to match the colors you were shown with makeup from a dicount retailer, like Kmart or Walmart.

As for skin an body care, work out regularly, drink 6 to 8 8 oz. glasses of water a day, and try to eat at least 5 servings of fruit and vegtables per day. Also, try to only wash your hair every other day, because overwashing can be drying and damaging.

If you have acne, have a daily face wash routine. (I suggest proactive solution or the generic version from Walmart.) Also, wear an oil free suncreen everyday, because age catches up much faster than we ever expect it to. Prevention, is the best option.
