I read all the time. I correct people (spelling wiz) all the time. I wear glasses (not thick ones) and I am going to go to a school with a strict dress code where we read lots of classic books next year and discuss them. I am not shy. I love good music. I also love dorky comedies like The Master of Disguise and I imitate lots of characters all the time. I act! I sing everywhere I go, though I'm not that good. Tell me, am I a nerd or a dork?

I also speak words such as 'tis' and 'twas' 'wondrous' 'beateous' and 'dreadful'. I have lots of friends too.

You seem to be self assured and confident. You also seem to be satisfied with yourself and what you have chosen for your life. Why worry about giving yourself a label? If I had to pick, I'd say dork....only because I, too, could be called a dork, and I rule.

Don't worry about labels. You are you, and seem like an intelligent and perfectly normal girl with very interesting artistic tastes and hobbies.
Adjectives like "nerd" or "dork" were created by mediocre people who envied those who were more intelligent or more independent of social norms than them. Be yourself, strive to be an individual and don't worry about labels. If somebody labels you with a negative term, it's likely that they do so because they feel "threatened" by you.

My advice: Be yourself.
If somebody thinks you are a nerd or dork, they'll let you know and you'll properly reply to them that you don't really give a damn.
=)

Just b/c you're smart doesn't mean that you're a nerd, many people don't seem to understand that. At my school the smartest people (the ones most people would call nerds) are actually the most popular and the most fun to be with (and the cutest, too)

So if they call you a Nerd, you should be flattered.

Have a great day!

only you can call yourself a nerd when you want. im considered a nerd because i use big words, correct ppl, read until im yelled at to stop, i wear glasses, love classical music, and play mind games on ppl. just because someone seems a little dorky doesnt mean they are. embrace it and tell ppl they are jealous theyre not you ^_^
