In a medical situations, drugs save lives-it's that simple. As far as marijuana being legalized, I would like to see it legalized for use with cancer patients. It makes chemotherapy much more tolerable for them. From a recreational standpoint, I agree with the bulk of the posters. I think we have enough drunks behind the wheel without adding stoners to the mix, too.

I think drugs are dangerous. No, marijuana should not be legalized. It has ruined a bunch of people that I know. I thought at first it was harmless, but it really can f*ck up lives.

I think drugs, just like everything else, are OK when used in moderation. Even the "evil ones" like heroin and coke can be used recreationally. With regards to herb, I personally indulge but I DON'T think it should be legalized. It would be an extreme culture shock to say the least and realistically, I don't think that our country is ready for it yet. Plus, I like the adventure.

10 years ago I would have said yes to legalization. Back then I had fun with it. Then I got in to speed. I gave ten years of my life, to drug and alcohol addiction. I have almost 2 years clean now. It took a couple of jail sentences to pull my head out. I don't recommend drugs or alcohol to anyone. Life is much easier without them.

I do not like drugs, they make people lazy, and can mess you up really bad. And no marijuana should not be legalized.

ummmmm unless you have EXTREMELY good self control skills, NEVER TOUCH ANY DRUGS. and even if you do never touch anything worse then like marijuana. i dont think it should be legalized, its easy enough to get away with carrying it doesnt matter, and unless you have more than like 1g the punishments are THAT harsh unless u get multiple offenses. if mariuana got legalized it would be horrible people would be worse then things were in the 70s with people spendning like there whole life smoking dope and doing nothing

Drugs destroy people's lives and that includes LEGAL drugs. Marijuana is also a drug that destroys people's lives. Although, I must admit that it doesn't happen as fast or as horrible as other drugs it still destroys people's lives.

I really enjoyed them for 10 years, or at least I thought I did. I woke up and realized I was wasting my life away. Now I am trying to make up for lost time.
NO, I do not think it should be legalized. Teenagers and kids today are lazy enough as it is.

drugs are bad. they limit the complexity of the human mind.
marijuana should not be legal, or else people would be driving on the highway stoned on a regualr basis. and cigarettes should be illegal too, but we all know that isn't going to happen any time soon.

I HAVE SEEM WHAT DRUGS CAN DO TO A FAMILY...BOTH MY DAUGHTERS GOT INTO THE WRONG KIND OF PEOPLE AND THEY WERE BRINGING MY DAUGHTERS DOWN AND CONTROLLING THEN...THIS IS HOW THESE LOW LIFE BASTARDS WORK...THEY TURN YOUR KIDS WORLD UPSIDE DOWN AND JUST FEED THEM MORE DRUGS...MY DAUGHTERS WERE SO INTO THIS GROUP AND JUST TEARING OUR FAMILY APART,THAT I HAD TO DO SOMETHING TO GET MY DAUGHTERS AWAY FROM THESE NO GOOD BASTARDS...ONE NITE I FOUND OUT WERE MY DAUGHTERS WERE AND I GOT MY X HUSBAND PISTOL OUT AND GOT MY DAUGHTERS OUT OF THAT DIRTY PLACE AT GUN POINT AND TOLD THE DRUG OUT BASTARDS,IF THEY EVER CAME AROUND MY DAUGHTERS I WOULD BLOW THEIR F*CKING HEADS OFF OF THEM...I MET EVERY WORD I SAY,,,THEY NEVER BOTHER MY DAUGHTER AGAIN AND I GOT THEM THE HELP THEY NEEDED AND WE ARE CLOSER THAN EVER...BELIEVE ME THIS REALLY HAPPEN,SPECIALLY WHERE I LIVE...I AM THANKKFUL THAT I AM IRISH WITH A HOT HEAD AT TIMES,SO I WAS ABLE TO PULL THIS OFF...
