i think i would rather be known as a know-it-all nerd than an idiot... it sometimes help to have the image as a know-all, because in some cases you achieve more with that image.

I'd rather be known as an idiot.
People would expect so much less of you, if you'd screw up, they'd say "Oh well, I should have known that would have happened.", and when you do succeed in something, people would give you so much more attention and be proud of you.

Why would anyone want to be a know-it-all nerd? Isn't "know-it-all" kind of derogatory?
