It all depends on what you want to do. Some people have to have one or the other depending on if you have kids if you go to school etc. Other's perfer to work mornings or night. I have friends who will only work night jobs becasue it's their personal preference some do it because it's what their friends do. I work both a morning and a night job. i get the best and the worst of both worlds.

I have worked all 3 shifts and prefer to work late afternoon. Again, it depends on ones sleeping pattern. Some people like working at nights because of different reasons, eg. child care, sleeping disorder, etc. Others like to work morning and have the whole afternoon for themselves and family. In my working environment, mornings are very hectic. Lots of emergencies taken place during this period. People running around like chicken without heads, too busy for me. As for nights, there are a lot more paper work, preparing things for the morning staff, giving report, the whole nine yard.
