It is my best friends brother (she wants us to be together), and he's about 10 years older than me. He tells their dad almost everything.. and all of this was intensified about a month ago when my boyfriend left temporarily for a job. My friend told me that the guy and their dad agree that my bf and I will not be together much longer.. when we are picking out my engagement ring within the next few weeks. They say that his parents will "make him cut it off so that he can find a Jewish bride".. his mom wasn't Jewish and she also converted for her husband (like I plan to).
This guy has said that he will marry me tomorrow if I tell him yes. He swears he's better than the bf because he is he already has his life in order w/a great career, and that my bf never will. My bf recently dropped out of school to find a career @ 23 y/o. His parents have ALWAYS supported him by giving him thousands of $ every month.
What do you think of this?

I cant follow the whole story. But I think e/one sounds like they either have probs.....or have some kind of an agenda. Personally I think you need to take a break from all of them.
