The song has nothing to do with Billie Jean King. "Billie Jean" was just a generic name for his female fans.

Um, no. The song came way after the famous "Battle of the Sexes" tennis match, in which Billie Jean King beat an old Bobby Riggs (NOT Jimmy Conners, as one person suggested). Anyway, Billie Jean King is a lesbian.

yeah I doubt he was talking about an OLD tennis playing FEMALE... that song is about someone who claimed that she had his baby.
