Anyone got any real fun icebreakers for a presentation that I am doing, its for approx 32 people all adults. The presentation is on food so a linked icebreaker would be good.

Play the chocolate game. In the centre of the circle of people you have a bar of chocolate on a plate and a knife and fork. There is also a whole load of clothes such as hat, gloves (essential to make it trickier) scarf etc. You pass a dice around the circle. Everyone takes it in turns to roll the dice. Whoever gets a six must run into the centre circle, put on all the clothes and attempt to eat a piece of chocolate with the knife and fork before someone else throws a six.

Alternatively, have a mound of flour on a plate with a matchstick poking out of the centre. People have to take it in turns to slice away part of the flour getting closer to the matchstick all the time. Whoever knocks the matchstick over must pick it up with their teeth.

Or there is of course the team game of passing an orange under your chin from person to person. The team who get it from one end to the other without dropping it first are the winners.

Hope that helped. If not...you can amuse yourself with them in your kitchen ;)

A good demonstration that we taste with our sense of smell (!!)Get some foods with the same texture - ie- yoghurt and custard, apples and potatoes etc... pair people up and blindfold one party. peg their noses, and ask them to identify one of the above by feeding it to them - they will not be able to "taste" the food, and will only have the texture as a clue. Blindfolding builds a sense of trust and this game is linked to your presentation theme.
Alternatively get people to take turns and improvise a use for different items of food by acting (the more obscure the better)

Bring in a roll of toilet paper and ask each person to take off what they would use when going to the bathroom. Each square they have broken off they have to tell the others in the class one point about themselves.
