The human Eye can only see a narrow band of the electro magnetic spectrum, the visible portion.

Spacecraft can see many different parts of the spectrum from low energy radio and micro wave wave lengths to the high energy gamma rays , giving a much better overall picture of teh universe.

It depends upon what way it is facing.. and the sensor systems onboard it....

some spacecraft see various frequencies from well below the human vision range to well above it.. as such.. they are able to see things from space that sensors here on earth cannot (atmospheric filtering)... even in the visible range... without the dust and other atmospheric pollution... spacecraft are able to photograph objects that are much more distant than human eyes an perceive...

I hope that by spacecraft you mean spacecraft with humans aboard and special optical equipement (telescopes ..).
If you look the universe you do not have anymore the distortion of the earth atmosphere so you can get more exact , and clearer pictures .
If you look earth you can get more global view of atmospheric changes, and with other equipement ,almost everything from sea curents to temparature changes .
Also by night you can see the cities of earth, and ultimatly you can have a experience of the planet as a heavenly body and ask yourself why are we so small minded when we are down on earth.

All sorts of things, for two reasons: First, being above the atmosphere, one can detect radiation not visible from the earth's surface because it is absorbed by the atmosphere. Second, spacecraft carry radiation detectors that can sense radiation at wavelengths other than the 400-750 nanometers that people can see.
