No - it is not a real story, it is fiction, and pretty crappy fiction at that. :)

no. Just like the bible is is written by a man. Sure was a though provoking theory though wasn't it?
I wouldn't be surprised if Jesus was actually married to Mary Magdelene. I think the councel of Nicea went to great pains to take any relevance of women out of the bible when they edited the bible. Religion is usually created as a way to control the masses.. At least historically speaking. The priests were the politicians of the day..The final word was always given by the holy man. That's quite a bit of power to give a human being.
