What do I need to drive a moped (125cc) in the UK?

I want to buy a Honda moped, but don't know what I need to do to legally ride it in the UK. I have a full UK drivers license. Can I take a passenger?

if you have a full licence (car) you need a cbt and l plates the cbt last 3 years, if no licence you need a provisional licence, do the theory and then a cbt then ride with l plates

moped is 50cc restricted to 35mph top speed. a 125 need's a motorcycle licence, CBT etc.
