I have lived here my whole life and love it. Where else can you have snowy christmas and a hot summer? We have a hugr range of temperatures, the mountains, Denver, there is so much to do! And the other answers talking about Jon Bennet, and stuff, give me a break! Are they saying no ones been killed in their state? Anyway, COs great, I love it. Definately visit before you move though.

YES! My sister and some other family members live there in CO Springs, Boulder and Denver. I'm actually trying to relocate. There's more open space, more affordable real estate, the majority of days are sunny and there are great outdoor activities...camping, skiing, hiking. I hear it's a runner's paradise.
Someone wrote that it's a rat race. I guess that depends on where you moved from. I live in CA and it's a major rat race here so it makes CO look calm in comparison.

I have never been to Colorado, but I hear the Front Range region(Denver,Co Springs) is nice. I have a friend who lives there and she likes it better than Georgia. Why not? There is more to do there(unless you like surfing and then you must go to CA or FLA). It depends on what you are looking for and what you like.

After visiting Denver for 2 months this year, I can say the scenery is beautiful, the roads are designed for quick and easy commuting, and the area attractions are great. But, like any place, each town has it's bad parts. (hoods or ghettos as we call them where crime rates are increased. )

A law in Colorado just passed making it illegal to marry a twelve year old. Sounds crazy that you would need a law to discourage people from marrying children. Jon Bonette was murdered there!
Hmmm. I would not move there!

Well...I just moved to Boulder, CO about 8 months ago from San Diego....and.....yeah, there's lots of outdoor activities there and stuff....and the montains are beautiful...but I don't really like it there. But I think you'll like it there if you're from anywhere other than California :P

we stay in Longmont and my husband works in Boulder. we like Boulder, the ambience, eating places, and so on. we stay on the very s.w. fringe of Longmont, about 10 minutes from Boulder and we picked it because it replaced right into a lot less severe priced. Boulder is extremely severe priced housing smart. we like residing right here, that is a spectacular section.

Yeah, it's a GREAT place for a 22 year old mother of one who shoves her views of abortion down other peoples' throats. I'll send you a brochure! :)
