Holly Golightly:
Well, when I get it the only thing that does any good is to jump in a cab and go to Tiffany's. Calms me down right away. The quietness and the proud look of it; nothing very bad could happen to you there. If I could find a real-life place that'd make me feel like Tiffany's, then - then I'd buy some furniture and give the cat a name!

I really like a line from an oldie, Papa's Delicate Condition, in which "The Great One," Jackie Gleason says sarcastically "I'm a big boy now; got my library card and everything!"

I love dirty dancing when "baby" finally comes out of her shell and fires back the line "Oh, yes, as a matter of fact it is. We're supposed to do the show in two days, you won't show me the lift, I'm not sure of the turns I'm doing all this to save your *** when what I really want to do is drop you on it ".. it just sounds like something i would say..lol
wedding crashers "I'd like to be cowboys from Arizona or pimps from Oakland but it's not Halloween. Grow up; Peter Pan, Count Chocula."

I love Jack Nicholson's "You can't handle the Truth!" speech from "A Few Good Men."
His says it so naturally, and with passion. It's like he's not even being an actor.
And it really makes you think about all those military people out there who put their lives on the line for us everyday.

My fav line is from the movie SNATCH.
Bricktop says it to the three guys who robbed his bookies.
Do you know what "nemesis" means?
A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by a horrible ****...me!
It doesn't get any more bad assed than that!

At the end of "Don Juan De Marco," Marlon Brando (who plays a psychiatrist) points out that romanticism is not only incurable, it is highly contagious. I thought that was perfect!
P.S. I thought of another one, but this involves something of an inside joke. At the end of "What Dreams May Come," Robin Williams says to his wife (about their decision to reincarnate): "Hey, I found you in Hell. Don't you think I can find you in New Jersey?" (My Steve was from NJ . . . )

im in love with gladiator, so obviously my fav quote would have to be from it:
"My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next."

You ever take a dump made you feel like you'd just slept for twelve hours?
Al Pacino in "Glengarry Glenn Ross"
that is about the only good part of that movie.
As for why: I guess it just cracked me up that it was his opening line in a sales pitch to real estate client.
