I will arrive in Kalampka by dinner-time and will only have 1/2 day the next day to visit some of the Meteora Monasteries. Which ones would you suggest I visit? How far are they from each other?

The parking lot is expensive and you'll still have a long walk. My suggestion is to take a taxi from your Kalambaka hotel to the monastery entrance.

All that are open to public. There is not far. Take sports shoos if you have to walk , cause is very high, but in the top of hill you will get a great view!. Shame on me i live in Greece and i haven't visit none yet!.

All of them are very close. But trust me, visiting one is enough. It really does not make a difference, but remeber -- you have to walk up in many cases -- the bus or car will not take you all the way to the top in many cases. I went by the heat that day & it was very hot.
