The setting is at:

Control Panel/Appearance and Themes/Display/Screen Saver/Power/System Hibernates

Change it to "Never" if you want to disable Hibernate.

But Hibernate has advantages. It saves wear on your computer, hard drive and monitor. And it come back quickly when you press the power button. I hardly ever Boot anymore since Hibernate comes back quicker than Booting.

Good Luck

There should be a hot key that turns it back on. Sometimes it is just a keyboard stroke or moving the mouse.

The advantage of hibernate is that it uses a whole lot less power, and if you pay the electric bill, you appreciate that.

Hy ! First : right click on your desktop. Then ´´Properties´´ , then click on the upper menu where u see ´´Screen Saver´´ then u will see a button in the lower right corner ´´Power´´ . U click it. After that another menu window will open. In that window u will see the ´´Hibernate´´ button. U click it and disable the hibernation..... Success ! ! !
