yes, group or generalizing people, or putting them in different catagories makes us feel seperate from each other. when u are part of one group then u know that u cant be a part of the other group, and every group has their own understanding of same thing. so like groups different religions seperate ppl in to groups, and usually when a conflict breaks out between the ppls from 2 different groups, it is not only the ppl that are in conflict but now it is also the groups in conflict. SO YES, it does, but it is also the best thing that has happend to human kind...

Religion deals with your own personal values and beliefs which may not be accepted by others. Separation is not caused by the religion but by your own intolerance of other people's value and belief system. If we can show respect and understanding then we can live in harmony. Just that everyone have their own agenda to control the world.

Yes, unfortunately it does.
Not in my mind, but for some people...religion is more important than anything else.
I had a 3 year relationship with an orthodox jew who, even though we were madly in love - ultimately ended the relationship because I wasn't Jewish.
His parents never even knew I existed.

Only people can allow themselves to be separated from one another! Now I'm not talking about the obvious reasons people are separated like jail, war, etc. But if "religion" separates people, it is because people allow it to. Just because people believe different things or have different views about God or anything spiritual, doesn't mean we have to allow it to separate us. I think one of the biggest things that separates people is the fact that they can't just agree to disagree and have love and compassion for one another anyway. I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ but I certainly wouldn't alienate others just because they dont' agree with me. "Religion" is a thing...a word! It is the PEOPLE in the religions that choose to separate themselves. It's easier to blame religion than to admit it is because of human selfishness and pride not what we believe. I don't believe it is impossible for people to get along just because they believe something different from one another. Stop blaming religion...humankind is to blame...

Yes religion can separate us, it can also pull us together. It depends on the religion and on the believers in that religion.

But honestly many things separate us. Not just religion.

yes! everyone has different opinions about who is the right God, and even down to how we should worship him.....

I know that Jesus died for me and all my sins, and when I go to heaven we will all be one, therefore when we all go to heaven for the first time we will not be separate, by religion, society, and wealth. I cant wait for that!

First, why are you in specific concentrated on Christianity out of the 1000's of religions on earth? 2d, what does God could desire to do with human beings being separated? that is human beings who opt to hate one yet another. The Bible says to love one yet another, which comprise your enemies. there isn't any explanation why Christianity itself could divide everyone. it may unite all and sundry. branch isn't brought about via Christianity it somewhat is brought about via human beings. How is it God's fault in case you reject Christ? How does human beings determining directly to no longer be loving equivalent God no longer being loving? precise right here, what you're doing, your finding for a reason to hate somebody, that's what motives branch. that's no longer brought about via faith, that is brought about via you. Biblical Christianity brings human beings jointly, it would not divide them.

yes. i believe each religion believes they are the only true faith, but true faith is from God. men wrote the bible to have control over their subjects. it was inspired by God but man decided what was to be allowed for civilians to read. the rest was hide away, in order for the church to remain in control. we are all one with God and everyone religion is up to them. we have the right to pick and chose. that does not mean that some are wrong or right. for what is right for you may not be right for me, but all paths lead to the God head.
blessed be
